Invesco PowerShares Capital Management is seeking to close two actively managed exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The ETF provider has also got approval from its board of trustees for the same.

The portfolios listed on NYSE Arca will be last traded on Sept. 30, 2011. The two portfolios are the PowerShares Active Alpha Multi-Cap Fund and the PowerShares Active AlphaQ Fund.
